We are using GNU Emacs 18.41.40 on Sun 3/60 workstations. It works fine on the Sun console but when used on a terminal connected to a serial port we experience problems caused by Emacs not recognising flow control signals. We have tried disabling flow control on the terminal and setting the padding in termcap to the values suggested in the Emacs distribution; but with no success. In the Emacs documentation it says that Emacs can be made to use flow control and that reference should be made to the 'installation' file. I don't have this file on my distribution so can anyone tell me how its done or mail me the file. Many thanks Rob Booth
