The current distribution of GNU emacs allows menus through the
old XMenu library, which I'm led to believe is either dead or
on its way out. I can't use this approach (our system lacks
the oldX libraries). Is there another way to get menus, besides
hacking it myself? :-)
The environment I'm using is:
Sun 3/60
Sun OS 3.5
emacs 18.53 (hot off the tape)
Thanks in advance,

If you have X11R2 then look in contrib/oldXMenu.
If you have X11R3 and don't have your R2 distribution still lying
around, look in prep.ai.mit.edu:/u/emacs/oldXMenu.tar.Z, which is just
a copy of what was in the R2 distribution in contrib/oldXMenu. If you
can't get to prep, it's also on osu-cis for UUCP access.
