[Actually from Daniel Kian Mc Kiernan] If the wild hack dogs can be tamed, they could be used to form a formidable army, but I don't think that they can be. I've tried dropping tripe; the wild hack dog ignored it. I tried blowing a whistle; that didn't seem to work either (but there may be more than one whistle for all I know). Any ideas?

Well, I know that there is a scroll of taming, although I don't know its characteristics. That sounds like a good bet to me. -- Roy J. Mongiovi. Office of Computing Services. User Services. Throwing food directly at the dog has never failed me, but I've never been able to get a (formerly) wild dog to follow me down the stairs. Ray
