Are there any truly portable versions of emacs? We recently acquired an Apollo 10000, and we would quite like to run emacs on it as well as the editor included with the machine. We really just need curses support (ability to deal with the apollo's funky windowing features is not necessary). The machine runs BSD 4.2 Unix. (We were given an Apollo-specific implementation of Gnu-Emacs from someone at Lucid, Inc., but were unable to compile it under the operating system we have.)
