I often see elisp code postings which start with a long, helpful, explanatory comment, followed by this: ------------------------ cut here ----------------------------- This seems silly. Why cut off the most interesting part? It often includes the discussion of what to put in your .emacs file to use it. I just put ;; in front of all the lines preceding this one, and stick the file into a public elisp directory. I encourage authors in the future to eschew this "cut here" practice.
