Sorry if this has been discussed before. I figure I'm doing something wrong ... For reference, I'm using GNU Emacs 18.54 on a Motorola 68030 Unix machine. It is my understanding that GNU's mail understands mailx's .mailrc aliases. If my .mailrc has two lines, e.g.: alias joe sys1!sys2!joe alias fred sys3!sys4!fred and I execute the mail command and say simply: To: joe (or To: fred) the mail goes out fine. However, if I say: To: joe fred it gets bounced back to me with "invalid recipient" messages for each of joe and fred followed by a "command failed /bin/lmail 'joe' 'fred'" type of message. I'm sure I'm not the first to have had this problem or else I'm doing something dumb. What gives? -- ================================================================= Lynn D.
