Disabled the FLOAT_OPTION environment variable, clean'ed and re-made. This alleviated an 'f68881_used' error. 2. Excised des_crypt.o, des_soft.o, _crypt.o, auth_des.o from /lib/libc.a (and ran 'ranlib' on the excised archive) to avoid the -Bstatic problem with Export SunOS 4.0 reported in "18.52-dist/etc/SUNBUGS". However, the cryptic link problem above persists.
