I have a system, where I am using a window, in which I occationally display output from various programs, initiated from other windows (emacs windows). The typical case is a window showing a TeX document, and then a keyboard command running TeX on that buffer. I have managed to make sure that the Shell-buffer (running the TeX processor) becomes visible upon initiating TeX, but I haven'd succeded in making the window auto-scrolling (unless of cource the cursor is in that window, and point is at the end of the buffer). Is there any way of forcing a window always to display point in the window, thereby making the window auto-scroll, as the TeX processor displays error messages and other info, without having to force the cursor into the window? Please reply through e-mail since I am not usually monitoring this newsgroup. ------ Jorgen Lindskov Knudsen / jlknudsen@daimi.dk Computer Science Department, Aarhus University Ny Munkegade 116, DK-8000 Aarhus C, DENMARK
