[gnu.emacs] Gnu Emacs, X 11.3 and Apollo. Anybody using this ?

I'm trying to use this configuration but experience some problems:
  Regularily while doing only typing text the editor stops displaying
  the text on the screen. (It is in the vicinity of 100 characters
  or multiples).
  After that only closing the window and re-opening it seem to recover
  though it some times can happen moving the mouse over the winow a number of
  times.

  So: is anybody using Emacs and X on Apollo without problems and what
  versions of the software is being used ?

  (My system:
	Apollo DN 3500
	SR 10.1 / BSD4.3
	X 11R3 (ADUS modifications)
	GNU Emacs 18.54 using very little of the Lucid modifications.
		(No GPR support etc)
