I am having a problem installing GNUemacs on our 386 UNIX box. First of all, I am working with ver. 18.54, and attempting to get it running on a Texas Microsystems 386 with Interactive's 386/ix (System V.3). Problem: Using the terminfo entry for an at386, we are having problems with the status line. First of all, it doesn't come out in inverse, and it also has extra characters in it (causing it to overwrite the minibuffer). I originally thought it might be our terminfo entry, but both microGNU and UniPress emacs work fine. Has anyone out there gotten GNUemacs up and running properly on a 386 machine running 386/ix? -- - Dan Rich | | Dialogic Corporation drich@dialogic.UUCP | - Time is an illusion. | 129 Littleton Rd or | Lunchtime, doubly so. - | Parsippany, NJ 07054 uunet!dialogic!drich | - Douglas Adams | (201)334-8450
