[gnu.emacs] C comment indents

Has anyone fixed C mode comment indentation so that comments of the
style:

	/* text text text
         * more text
         */

or
/* 
	* text
	*/

are created properly using automatic indentation ? There doesn't
seem to be a hook or variable that makes this "easy" to do ...
