Maybe you have followed the discussions in alt.sources (yes - the wrong group for the topic :-) but here in germany we have to pay large fees just to be a registered member. And as a student I can't afford that. But (hopefully) in the very near future we all (the independent SubNet) have our own domain. Next time please use the bang path as seen in my signature. -Axel -- UUCP : ...!uunet!unido!tmpmbx!utower!fischer Telex: 186672 net d Less than zero ...

This is probably too late, but just in case this is useful, here is some mail I tried to send ... >From daemon Date: 27 Sep 89 13:39:58 PDT (Wed) From: MAILER-DAEMON@sts.UUCP Subject: failed mail To: bonzo.sts.COM!roy Message-Id: <8909271339.AA16449@sts.UUCP> ======= command failed ======= COMMAND: /usr/bin/uux -r - utower!rmail '(fischer)' ======= standard error follows ======= bad system name: utower uux failed. code 68 ======= text of message follows ======= >From bonzo.sts.COM!roy Received: by sts.sts.COM (ease) from bonzo.sts.COM for utower!fischer id AA16436; Wed, 27 Sep 89 13:39:52 PDT Received: by bonzo.sts.COM (4.0/SMI-4.0) id AA07894; Wed, 27 Sep 89 13:38:57 PDT Date: Wed, 27 Sep 89 13:38:57 PDT From: roy@bonzo.sts.COM (Roy Bixler) Message-Id: <8909272038.AA07894@bonzo.sts.COM> To: utower!fischer Subject: Emacs ref. card Axel, You can get a real easy summary of all current key bindings with 'C-h b' (that is, Control-h and then b) That shows exactly what key bindings call what Emacs function. This works even if you have custom key bindings in your .emacs file. If you want a hardcopy, you can buy the GNU Emacs book by Richard Stallman. I got mine at Computer Literacy for about $17-$18 (US). ================================================================== Roy Bixler | UUCP: ...!{claris,sun}!sts!roy | Semiconductor Test Solutions | Internet: roy@bonzo.sts.COM | 4101 Burton Dr. | phones: (408) 727-2885 x132 (work)| Santa Clara, CA 95054 | (408) 289-1035 (home)| ==================================================================
