[gnu.emacs] , as the name of a node in a texinfo file

ara@LOM1.MATH.YALE.EDU (Allan Adler) (12/27/89)

I've been naively taking items from the index of the METFONT book and using
them as nodes in a texinfo file. Most of the time there is no problem.
However, one of the entries in the index is a comma and that raises the
problem of how does one make a comma the name of a node ? When one declares
the node, one gets @node ,,,,Top , which is apparently unacceptable and

I know that I can get around this by using,e.g. COMMA instead of the
actual punctuation mark at the cost of a certain amount of accuracy.
But do I have to ?

Please reply to me directly since I don't subscribe to this mailing list.
