Info-gnu-emacs (aka gnu.emacs) is not supposed to have so much mail on it, as is coming in the discussion of gaps etc. This discussion is no longer related especially to GNU Emacs, or even to Emacs. I am sure there are better places to have discussions on general editor design questions. Since I don't read news, I don't know where they are. But most of you do read news, so some of you must know.
