I have just released version 2.3 of crlf-mode.el for GNU Emacs. This package implements a minor mode for editing files with carriage-return/linefeed pairs as line terminators. The carriage returns are automatically stripped when the file is visited, and put back when it is written out. This is handy if you use emacs on files from a DOS system or VP/ix. You don't have to look at ^M's at the end of each line, let alone type your own in. Send email if you would like a copy.
