We're BACKKKKKKK................................

WATSFIC TOURNAMENT - WATSFIC TOURNAMENT - WATSFIC TOURNAMENT

WATSFIC has returned with another great Advanced Dungeons and
Dragons Roleplaying Tournament. It will be held on the weekend
of March 11th and 12th, at the Engineering Lecture Hall on the
University of Waterloo campus. Everyone is welcome to enter.

The basic cost is $4.50 per person. If you are a member of
WATSFIC, or you enter as part of a team of six players, the
price drops to just $4.00. And, if you sign up before March 1st,
the price drops by another 50 cents.

Signup sheets can be picked up at the WATSFIC office in the
Clubs Room at the Campus Centre (University of Waterloo) or
Imperiums to Order, and Now and Then Books on Queen Street in
Kitchener.

For those of you who don't know what AD&D is, let me explain.
You start with a character profile, containing information
on the characters physical abilities, psychological quirks, and
material wealth and equipment. In this case, the character is
likely to be something you would see in a Tolkien type world
(hobbits, elves, magic users, fighters, etc.) You will be given
a situation (eg. the princess has been kidnapped), and you as
the players must decide what the character should do.

It's really quite simple, and a lot of fun to boot! If you have
never played, don't worry. The tournament is a great way to get
introduced to the game, and any rules can be learned on the fly.

If you have any questions, either about the tournament, or WATSFIC,
send some mail to watmath!lion!brtrethewey, come see me at the
Clubs Room (weekdays 12-1PM, 4:30-6PM), or call me at (519) 747-9320.
