[sci.bio.technology] A Book on Biosphere II

lains@world.std.com (Layne L Ainsworth) (09/18/90)

After being the eighth or so person to suggest Whole Earth Review in
response to the Biosphere II post a couple of days ago, I found a book
about Biophere I, II and other biosphere stuff in the Harvard Coop.
(Second floor, paperback section, under "General Science.")

It's called _Space Biospheres_, by John Allen and Mark Nelson, Synergetic
Press, 8.95. I forgot to write down the copyright date.

This might also be a good place for information not just about Biosphere
II, but about other more elaborate projects, like a Mars colony. I don't
know how good it is, since I didn't have time to read more than the table
of contents. Maybe someone who has read it...?
