Regarding Advanced Rogue 5.5: A player here got the quested item and made it up to level 1. Upon going up a level, there appeared a screen full of ."/ and monsters. There was day (when all was visible) and night (like a dark room). Although there were borders around the screen, you could pass through them into another screen full of ."/ and monsters. Anyone know how to get out and finish the game? Are there an unlimited number of these rooms? Is this a map, with (blank) = lakes, . = prarie, etc.? The player found a % doorway, but was told "this doorway only goes down". Appreciate any help. The borders divide the forest into SEGMENTS. You can go into the forest via a caret (^) in the dungeon or UP the first level staircase (%). Anyone can do it. Don't forget that there ARE treasure up there too. It not really like a dark room at night either, if you go around it you will not see the monsters sleeping or treasures. >Anyone know how to get out and finish the game? hey dont call the guy a fool cause the stairway doesnt go up even with the artifact if your in the forest. The forest is the highest level. ie. 0 i've had the artifact and come back up. You just make it to the forest with the artifact.
