Could someone out there who has built InterViews 2.5 with g++ 1.35.1 and who has some wisdom about g++ compiler flag usage answer this? One of the variables in the IV Imake file is StandardDefines which, if I have understood correctly, should be set (probably in the .cf file) to the compiler flags that you want to use. I have set mine to be: #define StandardDefines -O -finline-functions -fchar-charconst mostly because that is what I have used in the past. Since I have essentially arisen from the dead (g++ 1.32 was the versison I was using before recently upgrading to g++ 1.35.1), it occurrs to me that there is probably a better set of flags to be using for general compilation. thanks, Rich Johns, MCC CAD Program | 3500 W.
