[gnu.g++] Isn't there another place?

I'd like to remind everyone once again that info-g++ (or its repeater
newsgroup) is not the right place to discuss the quality, or accuracy,
of books on C++.  Nor questions of exactly what the language allows,
except *perhaps* if it is a matter of G++ in particular rather than
the language.

Info-g++ isn't intended for discussions, but for announcements and
questions that *every user* would need to see.  There are many
relevant and interesting topics that some, but not most, users would
want to see.  Isn't there already another news group for these
discussions?

Yes, comp.lang.c++ is what you mean.  I think part of the problem
might be due to cross-posting ...
