Hi there. After a minor configuration error I managed to get g++ up and running on our 3/80s. I am now trying to convert pieces of game code to c++. The first stage I took was to rename almost everything to .cc extensions. I do, however, need to link much of this with some hideous old classic style C code so that those modules can be reused on other architectures that don't have g++ yet. I assume that gcc and g++ can link as long as the link points are are straight C function calls. The main problem is with our standard include files. They have no prototyping in them. I could go in as root and "fix" them but this would break everyone else's code. Is there any way to have g++ search another include directory like .../gnu/lib/g++-include? Does it already? Maybe I need to copy over the include files into g++-include and edit them there? Help . . . suggestions please. Thanks, THOTH out -=O=- -- (U. of F., the only place where the CIS department has its own beach :)
