Thanks to those who responded to my recent posting about problems building
g++ 1.36.0. For those of you who have successfully built libg++1.35.1
(possibly on a Sun4), is the following at all familiar:
gcc-cc1plus: Invalid option `-fchar-charconst`
builtin.cc: In function long in gcd(long int, long int)
builtin.cc:54: segment violation
/usr/local/bin/g++: Program cc1plus got fatal signal 11.
***error code1
make: fatal error: Command failed for target `builtin.o`
Divide and mod operations in builtin.cc are causing memory segment violations.
Constructive suggestions?
