We are trying to get GNU G++ working on our Vax 11/750 which is running SysV.2
and are having a number of problems. These relate to the COFF format used
on V.2. We are using G++ 1.35 and GCC 1.36
If we use the standard Assembler, we get problems with dollar symbols in
function names.
If we use the GNU assembler, we get problems with MAGIC numbers and the
GNU linker does not appear to support Vax SysV COFF.
Has anyone got G++ working under SysV.2 on a Vax and if so, could they mail me
and tell me how.
