[net.games.rogue] 5.4 questions

	We just got rogue version 5.4 here.  Is it much different
than 5.3 (which we used to have)?  The only differences I can find
so far are traps that print out meaningless quotes like "You 
suddenly feel thirsty" or "time seems to be moving slowly" or "Your
pack is clear" (or do these quotations mean something?).  Also 
there seems to be a problem with the '*' option (as in "Read what?
('*' for all), since everytime I hit the '*' the game was saved!
Is this a feature or what?
