For anyone who I haven't already told, the aforementioned patches to make ET++ compile with g++ (albeit not perfectly) are on qed.rice.edu (128.42.4.38) in /pub/et++: -rw-r--r-- 1 rich bioeng 48476 Jun 26 03:37 et-35-patches.tar.Z -rw-r--r-- 1 uucp bioeng 132641 Nov 20 13:58 et-36-patches.tar.Z -rw-r--r-- 1 rich bioeng 61968 Nov 20 13:00 et-36-patches.tar.Z.shar.1 -rw-r--r-- 1 rich bioeng 62000 Nov 20 10:42 et-36-patches.tar.Z.shar.2 -rw-r--r-- 1 rich bioeng 58821 Nov 20 13:57 et-36-patches.tar.Z.shar.3 and a README saying which is for g++ 1.36. A number of people have managed to build running applications with these patches; I'm soory I haven't been able to spend more time on them but pressures of work have led me in other directions. The original ET++ distribution is available by anonymus ftp at sirius.nada.kth.se (130.237.222.29) in the file pub/et++-1.0.tar.Z. Size 6.5Mb. Or from cayuga.cs.rochester.edu (192.5.53.209). ET++ is split into four pieces, in the files pub/et++-1.0.tar.Z[1234]. I'm going on holiday for a couple of weeks now, so I may not answer any mail for a while. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
