[gnu.g++] G++ on the NeXT

chada@cpsin1.cps.msu.edu (Satyanarayan Chada) (08/21/90)

I am DESPERATELY looking to port G++ compiler on to the
NeXT machine. Has anyone successfully ported G++ on to
the NeXT? If so, can you please give me some advice via
email.

Thank you.

Mara Helmuth at our studio managed to get a working version of g++ running
on her cube, she had some help from a couple of other people (but I don't
know who). Contact her via e-mail: mara@woof.columbia.edu. She's
out-of-town until the end of this week, though.

Satch,
	you might want to wait a couple of weeks, because
NeXT claims that thier 2.0 complier compiles both Obj-C
and C++.

A new version of g++ with Objective-C support is a standard part of the new
 2.0 release of NeXT software.

So don't waste too much time getting it up!
