[gnu.gcc] VMS GCC 1.30

Has anyone out there actually gotten the latest version of GCC (1.30) up and
running on VMS (V4.5)? I got the bootstrap compiler from ohio-state,
recompiled the 1.30 distribution, tried to link GCC, and got various
warnings. Even some amusing ones about symbols having to have a non-zero
length. Am I doing something wrong, or is GCC no longer working on VMS?
If so, what caused it to "break"?

Dazed and confused in New Mexico.....

BTW, the code generated with /debug doesn't quite work correctly for files
that more than one function in them.... The debugger complains about
scopes not being active.
