[gnu.gcc] Floating point processor support in GCC

labc-4dc@e260-4a.berkeley.edu (Erik Talvola) (02/13/89)

A couple of related questions...

1) I am using GCC on a Sun 3/50 here - but I don't think the manuals are
around on the system (probably to save space - the file server is pretty
crowded). My question is: how do I turn on 68881 support in the compiler?
Is it even supported?

2) I also may be involved in getting an 80386 PC-clone with Unix running on
it. It will probably be Sys V (not Xenix), as there are no BSD ports on
386 PC-clones as far as I know. What support is there in the 80386 versions
of GCC for the 80287, 80387, or Weitek floating point coprocessors (different
80386 machines accept any of these 3 floating point chips).

Thanks in advance for any information.
