In a recent posting opined that it would be preferable to replace Apple's software instead of boycotting Apple. In subsequent discussion, I see the error of my ways. In theory, you could take the software market away from Apple, but it misses the real point. Either way, Apple still sells iron, which is their main business. Stop buying hardware, and you hit Apple where it lives. Replace their software and you've only done a favor for the poor cripped OS and unfortunate users they have now :-) My big gripe on the whole thing - we all got it from Xerox, where the hell do they get off claiming they did any work?
