Many people seem not to have received my previous message, so I think I should state it again. There is a plan to file an amicus brief in the Apple case. Andy Hertzfeld, one of the principal developers of the Macintosh software, is probably going to sponsor it. Once the League for Programming Freedom is organized, it may also file briefs in this case and others. The more members the League has, the more weight the brief may carry. I'll send membership information once it is worked out.
