[gnu.gcc] I care and don't care

jim@eda.com (Jim Budler) (06/11/89)

I'm sorry, this is not appropriate here. That's half my problem.

a) I'm a Macintosh user. Predates the controversy (started as a 128k Mac).
b) I'm a gcc user. (Just want my X to work, faster)
c) I work for a software company. We want our work to benefit us.

I am interested in rms' opinions, 'cause they are valid or at least
provoke thought on the subject.

I've been very interested in the latest 'political' exchange because
it has expanded my understanding of rms.

It's helped my understand my position, partially.

But, I read this newsgroup to help me use gcc. And there has been no
room for gcc lately.

I vote for gnu.philosophy. Believe me, I care, and I would read it.
