I've used GCC up through 1.35 (I haven't gotten 1.36 yet) on our 320 with NS32332 processors. It will fail the cmp test no matter what, as the objects have built-in time stamps. I have compiled and run programs with GCC and they work fine, with two exceptions: - Programs using curses don't display porperly. - I couldn't get any X11R3 clients to work with the exception of xcalc. (Back with 1.34 - haven't tried since, as I no longer have any workstations here) I am not sure of what would cause the above problems (I am only now learning to program with X-Windows). But for the most part, it has worked. -- =========================================================================== Brian O'Neill - Boston University Corporate Education Center, Tyngsboro, MA UUCP: {decvax|ulowell}!bu-tyng!oneill Internet: oneill@bu-tyng.bu.edu (508) 649-9731 x14

<lines deleted>
try cmp -l. It will tell you all locations where the files differ and not
just die on the first.
