Sun 0S 4.0.3, sun3, gcc version 1.36 We have some libraries built with gcc, like X11R4. When linking programs compiled with sun cc or sun f77 against these, we get ld: Undefined symbol ___fixunsdfsi If the libraries and the program are built with sun cc, no problem. If the libraries and the program are built with gcc, no problem. Any ideas as to what is going on? Until we understand this better, we consider this a procedural problem with what we are doing as opposed to a bug. Glenn P.
