[gnu.gcc] Gcc for 3b2?

rkh@mtune.ATT.COM (Robert Halloran) (06/06/89)

Has anyone ported gcc to the AT&T 3B2 line? Any leads would
be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

]How about the 3B15?

The 3B15 and the 32100-based 3B2s are supposed to be object-code compatible,
subject to differences in OS versions, MAU, and shared libraries.

Don't we wish!!!

I asked that question a few months ago, and all I got
was a few replies that some people started working on a port, but never
got around to finishing it.

Actually, I've been meaning to give it a try, but I'm not experienced
in compiles, but I am taking a compiler design class right now.

But anyway, I really would like to see gcc for the 3B2, so if there
is sufficient interest, I suggest that we get a group of people together
to work on a port to the WE32000 processor. C'mon, it can't possibly
be THAT hard!!
