Has anyone ported gcc to the AT&T 3B2 line? Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. The 3B15 and the 32100-based 3B2s are supposed to be object-code compatible, subject to differences in OS versions, MAU, and shared libraries. -- # Bill Stewart, AT&T Bell Labs 2G218 Holmdel NJ 201-949-0705 ho95c.att.com!wcs # also cloned at 201-271-4712 tarpon.att.com!wcs # ... counting stars by candle light ....

Don't we wish!!! I asked that question a few months ago, and all I got was a few replies that some people started working on a port, but never got around to finishing it. Actually, I've been meaning to give it a try, but I'm not experienced in compiles, but I am taking a compiler design class right now. But anyway, I really would like to see gcc for the 3B2, so if there is sufficient interest, I suggest that we get a group of people together to work on a port to the WE32000 processor. C'mon, it can't possibly be THAT hard!! -greg -- Gregory A. Gulik greg@gagme.chi.il.us || ...!gagme!greg || gulik@depaul.edu
