     The next SUG-M meeting is on this Thursday, it should be very interesting
with the two leading (and prehaps fastest) X terminals being demonstrated.

    All welcome.  Tea and Coffee provided.

		 The Battle of the X terminals

   Agenda:

   2:30pm "What's been happening: Committee Report" by Steve Bodnar 15mins

   Report on status of SUG-M and recent change of secretary
   other activities we have under taken to improve the Association.

   2:45pm "Demonstration and talk about the new Samsung X terminal"
   This new X terminal from Samsung is reputed to have an X-stone
   benchmark rating of 72,000 and be available at about the price of
   the NCD terminals. Carlo Kapp of Graphics Computer systems will demonstrate
   and talk a little about these machines. 

   3:15pm "Expert panel - ask the experts your favourite question"
   The popular panel of experts will return to answer questions and
   generally premote the sharing of wisdom and experience.

   3:45pm Tea/Coffee break

   4:00pm Showing of some computer animation films
     in particular "Luxo Jr.", "Tin Toy" and "Red's Dream"

   4:15pm "Demonstration and talk about the new Colour X terminal"
       from Labtam  by Tim Roper	30mins
   The X terminals from Labtam are renowned for being fast if not the
   fastest X terminals in the world. Tim Roper will demonstrate the new
   Colour X terminal from Labtam and give a brief talk about the requirements
   using X terminals on your system as well as giving a summary of the
   X terminals on the market. They too claim 72,000 X-stones on their
   lastest monochrome X-terminals

   4:45pm "Talk and demonstration on Sun Net Manager" by Paul Rohsam of
   Sun Micro systems and description of any other new products from Sun.

   5:00pm "New Support system and Deliveries"
   A Brief Report on Sun's new support system and Sun's delivery times.

   5:10pm "Question & Answer with Sun Micro systems"
   A general Question and Answer Session with particular emphaisis on
   questions on the topics of Support and Sun delivery.
   Panel including Paul Rosham to be annouced.


   5:30pm Close.
