Telebit Corporation has demonstrated a precedent for extending this program
on a quarterly basis. It is only fair that we stress our intention to
terminate this program, in all seriousness, at the end of December, 1988.
Available through normal Telebit distribution channels is a new product,
the T1000, which operates complete with UUCP support at 9600 bps uncompressed.
This product retails at $795.00. Following December 31, 1988 both
TrailBlazer Plus and T1000 shoppers will be directed to a local distributor.
The T1000 is not available at any time through this USENET DISCOUNT PROGRAM.

Telebit Corporation is offering a special 50% promotional discount off the
TrailBlazer Plus modem to mapped USENET/UUCP sites. This offer is available
until December 31, 1988.
With Telebit's newest release of firmware (V4.00) supporting the UUCP protocol,
USENET sites can now take full advantage of the high speed dial-up capabilities
of the TrailBlazer with error free file transfer "throughputs" as high as
16,000 bps (18,000bps modem to modem burst rates).

In order to participate in the Telebit USENET/UUCP modem purchase program
your site must be located in one of the 50 United States or Canada, and
your site must be registered in the USENET/UUCP maps. If you have multiple

The Telebit TrailBlazer is the most advanced dial-up communications technology
