[comp.org.usrgroup] Interest in LISA V focus group?

xxbja@csduts1.lerc.nasa.gov (Betty Jo Armstead) (06/14/91)

I would like to know if there is any interest in attending a focus
group at the Sept 30- Oct 3 LISA V on centrally managed archive/backup
for non-heterogeneous unix systems including mainframes.
I have a particular interest in Unitree and AFS and would like to propose
a focus group along these lines at LISA V. If there is interest I
would not object to broadening the scope to other solutions. I would
prefer the emphasis be on requirements/problems and not vendor proposed
solutions. I will be glad to summarize and if interest warrants make
a proposal to the LISA program committee for such a focus group.

Judging from past LISAs and the LISA BOFs at USENIX I'd be stunned if
less than 50 people were interested. Go for it.
