[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] GIF viewer for CGA

spectre@cisunx.UUCP (Robert L Sillett) (05/01/88)

Since GIF was created by CompuServe, there should be a viewer for the
CGA somewhere in their massive archives. Does anyone know where to
look?

There seems to be quite a bit of traffic on this sort of thing, so
instead of mailing (asbestos suit in place) ...

CompuServe's Picture Support Forum handles all this stuff; viewers for
various graphic formats they have used, lots of pictures, discussions
about graphics (usually pretty nontechnical), discussions about new
graphic storage formats, and so on. For those of you with CompuServe
access, you get there by typing "GO PICS" at the usual places.

Is there source (C preferred) for the GIF previewer available?
