Since GIF was created by CompuServe, there should be a viewer for the CGA somewhere in their massive archives. Does anyone know where to look? Robert Sillett spectre@unix.cis.pittsburgh.edu

CompuServe's Picture Support Forum handles all this stuff; viewers for various graphic formats they have used, lots of pictures, discussions about graphics (usually pretty nontechnical), discussions about new graphic storage formats, and so on. For those of you with CompuServe access, you get there by typing "GO PICS" at the usual places. -- Greg Limes [limes@sun.com] frames to /dev/fb
