[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] Looking for shar

I'm new to this newsgroup and it seems that many of the binaries
in comp.binaries.ibm.pc are packaged by some sort of program 
called "shar".  Can anyone tell me where to find this program or,
if appropriate, re-post it or e-mail me a copy?
