I have a common problem. Too many TSRs and drivers loaded and not enough memory left to run some important applications. From studying the August 1987 version of the Lotus/Intel/Microsoft EMS document it certainly seems possible to run TSRs and interrupt driven drivers from expanded memory. It also seems possible to move applications that weren't written for EMS to EMS by inserting page handling into the interrupt routine. Has anyone written a general purpose public domain or sharware utility to do this? Can one be purchased? I am not interested in recommendations of different booting configurations (which I am doing already which is slow and cumbersome). To be explicite I am running PC/NFS drivers, Lifeline mail TSR (a mere 66K) and nothing else (aside from the DOS drivers and command.com) and am just a few tens of k shy of RAM required to run a serious (for a PC) simulation program. I have 640K and can afford an EMS compatible board. Please respond to me via Email. I will summarize to the net in comp.sys.ibm.pc. --------------- Jerrold L.
