I just REsubmitted a posting of the new Version of CASSETTE to the
moderator at the address mentioned in a recent article. Hopefully,
it will show up this time. This new version clears up the printer
compatibility problem the original posted version revealed. This
version has been thoroughly tested on both a Genuine IBM Graphics
Printer and an Epson FX-series printer. If it works on the IBM,
it should work on just about anything!
The previous version had problems with printers which could not
support emphasized mode mixed with compressed print (of which there
are many). This version fixes the problem and provides COLOR
support for those with the capability.
THOSE TO WHOM I HAVE E-MAILED THE NEW VERSION of CASSETTE:
This version which has just been posted is the same as the version
you received, EXCEPT the posted version supports color. (The version
you received does not -- I just acquired color capability over the last
few days, so I haven't supported it until now.
