I recently acquired a Suntek 286/12 AT clone to run UNIX on. For a number of reasons I replaced the AMI BIOS which comes with the machine with the latest Phoenix BIOS. Unfortunately, the Phoenix BIOS does not support the keyboard sequence for changing the speed from 8MHz to 12MHz, and the Suntek motherboard does not have a way of setting the speed by means of a jumper. Does anyone out there have a utility program (i.e. "speed.com") which will switch the processor speed on an AT clone? I know such things exist for XT clones, and hope that one of you can help me with an AT version. Source for either DOS or UNIX, or a binary for either DOS or Microport V/286 would be welcome. Please respond by E-mail since I do not regularly read all these groups; if I get a constructive reply I will summarize and post. Thanks! Wolf -- Wolf N.
