[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] Authors ban on ARC idea

msmith@topaz.rutgers.edu (Mark Robert Smith) (09/18/88)

The next logical step I see is that shareware or public domain
authors, when copyrighting a product, include a clause that the
product never be compressed using any format that SEA has instituted a
copyright claim for.
This way, new products written by people who disagree with the
competition by litigation attitude shown by SEA can be certain that
they will never support SEA in any indirect fashion.
