[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] need new copy of BASTOC.EXE

snsrjth@nmtsun.nmt.edu (<<Jeff>>) (09/19/88)

If someone has a working copy of BASTOC.EXE (basic to c translator)
that was posted a while ago to comp.binaries.ibm.pc, could they
please email me their working copy? When I uudecoded and ran mine on
pc, it just gave me a bunch of random characters at the beginning and crashed
the system (## Sigh ##).

This is exactly the same behavior that I experienced - so I suspect that
the actual posting may have been of a bad file. I too would like a working
copy of the program. In case the BASTOC.EXE was really an archive or something
else, I looked around at the code, but it appears to be a real EXE file, but
all it does is throw some garbage at the screen.
