I have a general purpose communications driver that is written in 8080 code that I need to translate into 8088 code. I am not that familiar with either code set. Does there exist a program to convert from 8080 to 8088? I could spend the time trying to figure out the 8080 but why bother if there is a conversion tool available? Any help that you could give me would be appreciated. I have Microsoft's Macro Assembler 5.0. Please e-mail me.
