This is a *possible* bug in Kermit 2.31. I've been working with a new ASCII/Async to EBCDIC/Bisync/X.25 protocol conversion setup and I've noticed some odd behavior under Kermit 2.31. As the behavior doesn't occur with a CIT326 running as a VT100 the problem may be in Kermit. (Since the problem doesn't happen using similar features by 'rn' it may also be in the protocol converter.) As soon as any character is made "bright," everything after that byte is bright--even if an entirely new screen is sent. I.e. highlighting never turns off. This is when Kermit is running VT102 emulation. If anyone has any ideas what may be causing this please mail it. If I can get a proper address to send Kermit bug-reports, I'll send this along. Thanks in advance for any help. --Hal ========================================================================= Hal Heydt | "Hafnium plus Holmium is Analyst, Pacific*Bell | one-point-five, I think." 415-645-7708 | --Dr. Jane Robinson {att, bellcore, sun, ames, pyramid}!pacbell!pbhya!whh
