as i said earlier, i ended up with a fabulous source file of compress. unfortunately, i can't compile the sucker with either of my C compilers: turbo & lattice. could someone out there send me email if they would be able to send me a uuencoded copy of the DOS executable of compress? please send email and get an 'ack' from me before you send the uuencoded executable... a while back i asked for TECO, and ended up with about 75 copies of it in my mailbox... (this was for a Sun -- i don't have TECO for a PC... do you?) steve
