One wonders why people even bother to criticize programs before they've
read the docs that COME WITH THE F***ING PROGRAM!!!!
(Putting on my asbestos suit...)
In article <2759@silver.bacs.indiana.edu> burleigh@silver.UUCP (frank burleigh) writes:
]Actually, I have found a number of problems with ANARKEY.
]
]1. It seems to force the cursor to the blinking underline, depsite any
]resetting I may do with a cursor-setting program.
RTFM. On lines 251-252 of ANARKEY.DOC, it says
Cursor shape changes can be repressed by including the -C option on
the installation command line (see "Installation Options").
]
]2. File name completion is a little flakey. Try cycling through
]ANARKEY.SUM, ANARKEY.DOC and then to ANARKEY.COM. You can't get to the
]last name for some reason.
Again, RTFM. On lines 1493-1497 of ANARKEY.DOC, it says
During name completion, ANARKEY automatically ignores all files with
the following extensions:
.$$$ .BAK .BIN .COM .EXE .HEX
.LIB .OBJ .OVR .SYS .TMP
]
]3. Using Mirror II (comm program), putting Mirror in the backgroud,
]doing something with ANARKEY, and going back to the comm screen: system
]doesn't accept any keystroke and must be cold started. This is prob. an
]interaction between Mirror's background and ANARKEY. Nonetheless, it is
]bad and HISTORY doesn't show the problem.
I dunno why this happens. Check interrupt vector conflicts.
