[comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d] UUPC Whereabouts

abf@rti.UUCP (Al Finger) (12/14/88)

What is UUPC, and how might I obtain a copy? It doesn't exist on
simtel, at least not by that name.

Try looking under pd1:<msdos.uucp>
The latest version is called interim.arc

It works, because I have already used it.

Oh and good luck getting it off simtel20.arpa, it took me 2 weeks worth of
trying everyday (at least 5 times a day)!!!!!

obtained directly from the UUPC distribution site van-bc.

INTERIM.ARC is available on many MS-DOS boards across the country.
This includes mine -- BOBsBBS 916/929-7511. You will have to sign
up the first time you call and then call back a day or so later to
get the file. (Better than two weeks!) Good luck.
