Version 1.80 of VUGIF, CGA/EGA/MCGA/VGA/HERC/ATT/DEB GIF displayer.
[From the documentation]
			About Version 1.80

  - picture can be scaled now from 1% to 999% in both directions, and can
be set to scale to full screen width and height automatically.
  - the file list can be continuously repeated (till aborted) by ending
the list with a "/" character.
  - Much better color translation in EGA 16 color mode, even better on VGA
16 color mode for some pictures.
  - correct background color in EGA/VGA modes.
  - Extended video drivers are automatically detected and their supported
    video modes displayed.
  - Default time delay changed from 10 to 20 seconds
  - In directory menu, now you can enter a subdir name without ending it in "\"
  - Other minor enhancements

This version of the program is released as shareware. It is not free
and is not in the public domain. Usage beyond a trial period of three
weeks requires that you register. Registration contributes to the
purchase of additional hardware needed for testing the software and
provides the incentive needed for continued development.

VUGIF is okay, but it has some limitations: It doesn't make any
reasonable guesses about which mode to use. Manual override is
desirable, but it would be nice to get a "best guess" display mode
selection.

My favorite for EGA use is FASTGIF, which will scroll through pictures,
and handles VGA images by dithering. The best monochrome viewer I've
seen is GREY. The new VPIC replacement for VGIF doesn't seem to be as
good, in my humble opinion.

I've been posting GIF stuff to a BBS, I've got 7 viewers, 8-10
utilities, and 8+MB of images to put up (and little time to do it).
Maybe this weekend I'll finish.
